SIMMER
I originally started developing this pedal to see how attractive I could make use of the monotone Tremolo effect of periodically changing the volume levels. After much research on circuitry and repeated prototypes, the
Shimmer Tremolo was born.
One feature of Shimmer Tremolo is the variety of characteristics directed by the Gain and Color controls.
"Gain" controls the magnitude of the volume change effect, but the saturation can create a rich, harmonious overtone.
"Color" controls the tone, allowing arrangement from a warm to a lighter touch tone.
The heart of the tremolo is the LFO, which allows transition from the natural change from a triangular wave to a switching-like extreme square wave effect. A wide range of speed control allows for great variability in settings.
